Classic Gutter Systems
Classic Gutter Systems installed on an estate in Far Hills, NJ. There was no fascia present on this renovated tudor. The stainless steel bar hangers were first installed to the sheathing, then roofed over. The slotted hole in the bar gives us a perfect amount of room to adjust the pitch on the gutters. Most designs call for one inch per 40 feet. The hangers are Cast Bronze and are bolted tightly in place on each Bar Hanger.
The bar is 1″ wide and is available in two lengths, 15½” and 17½”. Four no. 12, 1½” stainless steel wood screws are provided for attachment to the roof. The slot at the bottom of the bar allows for a 1¾” vertical adjustment. We supply a 1″ x 5/16″ stainless steel machine bolt and nut to attach the fascia bracket to the bar.
Our roof mount bar is available in stainless steel and copper. It is .304 inches in thickness (5/16″) and can be used with cast fascia brackets and classic or scroll bar brackets. With the fascia missing, the bar hanger is crucial in order to hang up the gutters. A roof bar is generally used in an installation situation lacking a fascia board or when crown molding prevents attachment.
The dark color of the gutters suits the dark accents on the exterior of the house. It also blends well with the color of the roof. This home definitely has curb appeal that will be the envy of everyone on the block.
Thanks to the crew at NJ Gutter, this home is now looking better than ever!
